WELCOME CHRISTMAS
Well, my husband says he is not done but you can't tell by these pictures. He has two Christmas trees (not holiday trees) on the front porch and I decorated our inside tree today. It takes me all day as I feel it is not done if you still see green of branches.
It actually looks much prettier in person than by these photos. The details of the greenery, bows, trees, wreaths, garlands, decorations, and large glittered snowflakes are much prettier seeing them in person.
Not a day or night goes by that we don't have people driving by and stopping. Attention to detail is what it takes. Merry Christmas and God Bless America to all.

LOVE MODA FABRICS
I love Moda fabrics! I made this cowboy/cowgirl quilt using the Moda decorator fabrics....they resemble the Bark Cloth fabrics of the "olden days". The mainly red one, which is the back of the quilt, is called "Cowgirls" and also incorporated into this cute quilt are "Get Along Little Doggies", "Cowboys", and "Rodeo Show" by Alexander Henry.
Alexander Henry has great fabric also. I once met Nicole DeLeon, one of the designers of Alexander Henry Fabrics. The fabric on the back of the next quilt, Snowmen, is by Alexander Henry. It is such a soft flannel and has scenes of children building snowmen, ice skating, and playing in the snow.
Tomorrow is another day, and another quilt....something I never get tired of making.

Halloween Etsy
Here are a few of my spooky things for sale on my little Etsy shop....Halloween seems to come and go so fast! My husband is out right now decorating for it, as it takes him about a month to complete (he does it very tastefully) and then when he is done, it is time to take it all down!
Yaaaay! The weather is changing! It is only supposed to be 80 degrees tomorrow...whew! I am doing a show and we all know there is enough sweatin' goin' on without the 100 degree heat...In fact, it is supposed to rain on Wednesday and Thursday....that I will love!
Well, anyway, about this show....I had to hurry up and start creating some fast movers as I have sold three....yes, THREE quilts this week on Etsy.
Has someone discovered my Etsy site or has someone come into some money!!?? Well, it is the first of the month tomorrow so I hope the show is booming!

DANVILLE SHOW
Here are a few shots of the Downtown Danville show that took place on Labor Day. It has taken this long to get this little blog out. Great customers, great weather, great promoter (her shop is called Cottage Jewel, 100 Railroad Avenue, Danville), and two great helpers...my daughter and my granddaughter. I could kick myself for not getting a picture of all of us together...the booth was pretty full of customers most of the time.
Now I am off to Zephyr Cove at Lake Tahoe for our annual quilt retreat....rejuvination of the soul and a great time to accomplish quilting at its finest with the finest of company. ...my sister for one, and fellow Folsom Quilt Guild friends for another.
It will be nice to get away where the weather is much cooler and nights are downright cold...just the way I like it. I WILL RETURN, with more quilts finished and hope to list on Etsy!

LET THE FUN BEGIN!
It is showtime again! Trying to factor in home, retreats, sewing, creating, and life. Even with only one or two shows a month, it gets hectic.
Yesterday I decided to do painting and I painted this stool and chair. I will need a very specific buyer for the chair! It was sooooo much fun!
Now, back to sewing....I have two quilts to quilt in five days!
